Final Christmas Cards for 2014

Well, Folks.
As the title states - here are my final cards for 2014. I didn't get as many made as I have other years, but you know what? That is OK. My life has been filled with family and friends ... and food ... and laughter! We have had a wonderful December thus far - actually, it all started the last week of November and there is no end in sight as of yet. Had family visiting this past weekend - what a blessed time; and more fam this weekend! YEA! Gotta love all that! Christmas next week and then we head for the city for a few days! Keep praying for this awesome weather to hold til January!

Well - on with it I say!
Here is the little Shepherd boy - isn't he the cutest?

We made this at our November Klub - Cindy brought this one for us to make ! it's a beauty!

Just a simple JOY!

A pretty wreath hangin' in the window!

Last but not least ... this little girl is on the card I have made for Madison this year! I love to color so this was fun to do!

-

Now I am off to clean up the Kraft Korner - put the Christmas stuff away. I have a parcel from Stampin' Up! arriving tomorrow with some new product from the Spring Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogues... stay tuned - I may give you a couple peeks at some of it before the New Year rolls around.

May you all have a blessed Christmas! May there be peace and joy in your hearts!

A Project Completed ...

Well, Peeps...
The project is complete! Such a fun thing to do! I apologize for the poor quality pics - I just took them and the light wasn't good.

The final four card fronts for framing - Enjoy.

Next week I will be working on some other things. Today, as demos, we got a chance to see the new Occasions Catalogue which goes LIVE in January 2015. I think you will like it. So I put in a pre-order - now to wait a couple weeks for it to be here! And YEA! I achieved a free stamp set for November and was able to order from the Occasions catty! Gotta Love That!

Have a great weekend ... see you back here next week. Maybe things will slow down a little so I can do a challenge or two next week - Oh wait! What was I thinking? That won't happen - James and Carla are coming for 4-5 days! YEA!

Hugs and Blessings!

- For Framing!

Hey there Peeps!
Well! Here it is December! Are you ready for the big day! I think this is the first year that my tree HASN'T been decorated by the 25 of November... I do have a few decorations up ... and the tree has been sitting in the living room - I turn the lights on and quite like it like that. Ummmmmm ....

Been busy in the Kraft Korner - although you wouldn't know it by the blog would you?

Here are some 'card fronts' I have made for framing ---
Well! Having said that, this may take a while as blogger is very slow in responding if it responds at all!

They are so much prettier "in real life"!

Such fun to do  - but not fun getting them here for you to see! Wow! That was a test in patience! :0

I trust you have enjoyed your peek here today... Thanks for visiting with me!
I will return by the end of the week with more cards... almost done my Christmas cards and have a couple birthday cards to make as well as "all occasion" ....

See you later - have a great week!

No Stamping ...

Hi peeps....
It's a windy one today! We sure have been spoiled by the nice warm weather we have had. We need to face it - winter is just around the corner! And with that comes snow and Christmas! I say, "no" to snow; "yea" to Christmas!

So - along that line I made two cards today ... a Winter Hello and a Christmas card!
Some of my friends have picked up some new dies from various vendors and they have given me lots of "card candy" to play with! Thanks, friends! :0

This first card is a Winter Hello using Stampin' Up! CS and DSP ... so simple.

I decided to put some of the DSP inside with a corner piece ... maybe I will stamp on it - and maybe I won't...

Here is the Christmas card - again I used S. Up! CS and DSP (Cherry Cobbler and White) ... this one is blank inside as well, for  now.

Well, I hope you enjoyed your peek here today. Stay warm.

August Kreations Klub

Hi everyone ...
Sorry I am late posting this - I just got my internet back!
This will be a quick post - just to show you the cards we made at Klub on Saturday! Oh my, we had lots of fun, and laughter! A good time was had by all!

#1 - A Christmas Card using a new set from the Holiday catalogue...We embossed the cardinal and sentiment in gold; used a strip of DSP and Mossy Meadow Ribbon.  I think I see more of these in my future.

#2 - Fun Fold card with focal image done in "Pointillism" - a painting technique done by using the pointed end of a marker or Blendabilities ... this is a close up - it is a fun technique!

Here is the card with the flower and a fun fold and Typeset DSP...

#3 Bokeh ...which I showed everyone the other day!

Usually we do 4 projects but for some reason these 3 took us all afternoon.

Stay tuned for more goodies!
Hope today was awesome!

Christmas in August !

Hey peeps!
I have made a Christmas Card! I missed doing it in July .... you know, the old "Christmas in July" thing? So I'm only one day late. I hope that is not an indication that I will be late for Christmas!  :)

Anyway - I really wasn't planning on doing this but I rec'd some product from Stampin' Up! the other day and just had to use this new set with the Cardinal in it --- Beauty of the Season. It is available in the Holiday Catalogue which customers can order from on August 28th.

Here is the Card - colored with Blendabilities... using Mossy Meadow and Crumb Cake CS -

Have a great weekend ... I am doing some coloring so expect to see some unique stuff come next week - BUT - no more Christmas for a while!

Hugs,
Ruthie
