November Kreations Korner Klub

Hey!
Klub meets today - here are 3 of the 5 projects we will be doing today! Enjoy...

This first one is made with the Wondrous Wreath stamp set and framelits... and a little Washi Tape.

The JOY on this card us also from the Wondrous Wreath framelits.

I call this one the WaterColor Wisemen! A little messy - but oh so fun  to do. Each one turns out different. They are following the STAR!

I have been commissioned by a friend to make 10 "vintagy" card fronts for her to frame as gifts. They will probably all be different as I am not one to sit and make a bunch of cards all the same! I will let you see the end result in a couple weeks.

Keep following the STAR and have a blessed weekend!

Snowy Scene

Hey there Stampers!
It has been a little over two weeks since I showed you anything here! I don't know where the time has gone - but it has been full, I do know that!

I have a card for you today that is almost exactly copied from one made by Karen Squires at www.staminbythebay.blogspot.com - I saw this on Pinterest yesterday and just had to make one like it!
The stamp set used is "White Christmas" by Stampin' Up!. It is a photopolymer set and I really like how you can see where your images are being stamped!

Here is the card closed - as you can see it is a unique fold. This is called a "stand-up-card" if you are interested in searching out the dimensions, etc. When closed it will fit into a regular size envelope.

This is the card open - I have not put a sentiment on it yet as I'm not sure if I'll use it as a winter card or a Christmas card!

I stamped with Early Espresso; used White Kraft ink to sponge the snow on the ground; used my chalk marker for the flakes and bear and snowman.

I hope you enjoyed your peek here today! As I made this card I was contemplating the serenity and peace found in a winter snowy scene. I cannot imagine having the amount of snow that New York has received in the last couple days! That would freak me out for sure!

Have a great weekend...
Kreations Klub meets tomorrow afternoon - I will post the pics of our projects in the morning for you all to see!
'Til then - Blessings on yah!

Let It Snow - NOT!

Hi Stampers!

I love the sight of new fallen snow! It is so fresh and clean and white! I especially like to see it untouched by footprints. However, I don't like the cold; I don't like driving in the stuff; I don't like sliding around in it! I could easily join the bears and hibernate for the winter!  :0
But then I would miss Christmas - one of my favorite times of year!

I made a couple cards with some house die cuts (non Stampin' Up!) ... these are WINTER cards. I did not put any sentiment on either one because I may use them as birthday or thank you or just a January thinking of you!

I don't think the photos do them justice. They were a little tiddly for me but I had fun and had glitter everywhere by the time I was done.

I colored in the trees and the roof lines to coordinate with the DSP used. Then added glitter everywhere!
I hope you enjoyed your peek here today!

Merry, Merry, Merry... and more

Hi Peeps!
I have been making Christmas cards.... remember the other day I told you I had some packets left over from a Workshop? Well, I have finished them up and have some cards to show you. I hope you are ready for all of this! :)
[I tried to lighten up the photos without much success... sorry]

We made this monochromatic card (with white as the neutral) at Kreations Klub a couple weeks ago ... color is Lost Lagoon. Don't you love the little snowflake charm? They would make great earrings!!!!

This is was the second Make and Take at the Workshop last week - using the Seasonally Scattered stamp set. The technique here is called Reverse Embossing... We heat embossed the stamp in VersaMark and Clear powder ... then sponged with Pear Pizzazz ink (it is much prettier in reality).

Now for the rest of the cards I made - mostly with the same supplies as the workshop card.
A friend visited a stamping outlet and brought me some ink pens that have glitter in the ink - I used the silver one here. Can you see the glitter?

This card is pretty basic - added some Lost Lagoon ribbon and pearls - and sponged in the 'Merry'

I turned the last 2 cards into the "landscape" format ... and used Crystal Effects on this one!

This photo shows the Crystal effects up close!

And - I think I like this one the best! I really like Pear Pizzazz and Lost Lagoon together ... Maybe not your "typical" Christmas colors - but who ever said I was predictable or typical?  :0

I hope you enjoyed your peek here today!
Thanks for stopping by -
Leave me a comment below and let me know which one is your favorite!
Blessings & Hugs!

An Eclectic Bunch...

Hey Stampers!
I can't believe it has been almost 2 weeks since I posted here. It has been a busy 2 weeks, I guess. Yesterday was the first absolutely FREE day I have had in a while ... but it has all been good!

This past Monday I had a Stampin' Up! Workshop with some gals who love to make cards and have been at it for a while. So, I spoiled them and we had 2 "make and takes"; one of which I will show you today!

Here is the card the gals made that evening... using the Kinda Eclectic stamp set and the Typeset DSP.

I had prepared for 12 attendees and only 8 were there... so I came home with some packets of card supplies. The next day I decided to get these off my desk - not by putting them in a box to use later (sometimes later never comes, it seems) - but by making some cards with the supplies.

Here are the cards I made that afternoon. The first 2 have no sentiment on them yet....

The next 2 are Christmas cards - I had these 2 houses sitting with some "stuff" on my desk ... so I made a "from our house to yours" card! I used the Holiday Home stamp set for this one.

For this card I used a couple of deer that a friend had die cut for me ... The silver glitter pieces were left over from the second "M & T" - which I will show you next week.

I have not been back in my Kraft Korner since Tuesday - hopefully today will see me there for a bit!

Have a great weekend! Don't forget to put your clocks BACK tonight!
Blessings and HUGS!
