Are you dreaming of being "by the seashore"? I am! Can't wait to go to one of my favorite places ... Port Maitland Beach ... sit in my chair, listen to the rolling waves, (and my soothing music), and spend some time with my best friend - Jesus! :0<br />
<br />
So, while I wait for the temps to allow that to happen I have made a couple cards using a "new to me" stamp set - By The SeaShore. Both cards use Sahara Sand CS ... Hey! How appropriate is that! Sahara Sand = Seashore? Did you get that? I didn't until just now as I typed it! DAH! I really like this neutral CS and the ink is a great neutral as well.<br />
<br />
For card #1 I stamped and lightly colored 2 of the images ... stamped some splotches from gorgeous grunge and Voila! There you have a quick "Thinking of you" card.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3JfwNeX8FbRpV-ffmyar45EykpkIhUlo7XAMDZmQmg-LUdFlFqqSMbdzYMPxF91JjPBg2bt5RfduLUDmyUP3YpmuQYZAcCO-2uIDDVnac9KOfzDe89WP5uTHYccpyq6dt_geAu90BFpQ2/s1600/1+By+The+SeaShore.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3JfwNeX8FbRpV-ffmyar45EykpkIhUlo7XAMDZmQmg-LUdFlFqqSMbdzYMPxF91JjPBg2bt5RfduLUDmyUP3YpmuQYZAcCO-2uIDDVnac9KOfzDe89WP5uTHYccpyq6dt_geAu90BFpQ2/s1600/1+By+The+SeaShore.JPG" height="640" width="518" /></a></div>
<br />
With Card #2 I stamped 3 images with versamark and then triple embossed them to give some variation in color to the shells. It is difficult to tell they have been heat embossed in the picture. I needed to make a couple Sympathy cards ...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmtkN9Fnneicd2GqV9l1uXgshlavmBZ_CgiwVA3eUmRLXmSw0p3yAauiBCgeXjNQJiDJtiKdZuLXB9eW-aFRtXnEUJS5pFGMRkKPZIsXC23GVMktpQwxtJEBcgHkhwL1m-0TnbiUK_1nLe/s1600/2+By+The+SeaShore.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmtkN9Fnneicd2GqV9l1uXgshlavmBZ_CgiwVA3eUmRLXmSw0p3yAauiBCgeXjNQJiDJtiKdZuLXB9eW-aFRtXnEUJS5pFGMRkKPZIsXC23GVMktpQwxtJEBcgHkhwL1m-0TnbiUK_1nLe/s1600/2+By+The+SeaShore.JPG" height="640" width="550" /></a></div>
<br />
So I guess I am off to the Kraft Korner to create a couple cards for the Secret Sister revealing on Saturday.<br />
The Kraft Klub meets on Saturday so I'm not sure I will get to the reveal but I will make sure my gifts are there!<br />
<br />
Have a great day and enjoy this sunshine!<br />
HUGS<br />

A few prep pics to show you -<br />
<br />
Here is the Table - Ready and Waiting... 2 people are away so we have a smaller group - usually I have to add an extra table!<br />

<br />
Sheltering Tree card ... I haven't used this set much - I am thinking that I must sit down someday and make a bunch of cards with it. It is a set that could be used for many different occasions!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
This card uses the printed vellum SAB (which ends the end of March) I colored the flowers on the back of vellum and adhered it to a piece of white CS. one could adhere it to DSP or colored CS for a different look. Can`t wait to try some of the other designs -I hope Stampin`Up! continues this vellum in the new Catalogue coming out in June!<br />

I can't believe it has been over a month since I have posted here! Nor can I believe that it is March 24th! Where has this month gone? The only good thing about time passing so quickly is that Spring is getting closer. I can't wait to hear the peepers!!!<br />
<br />
The cards I have for you today have a touch of Spring to them!<br />
The first one is a Birthday card using the Butterfly Basics stamp set and Framelits.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYwBW8aGnaWON-He9PsYbMf1ow1kzCBfQlO6ItAim80z_G42v0zxtildwlNBfww4VXH0GPcTHKHN_Y6xScNs14aZOeffl9YXQRDgpox5JIr4YVCBOZmQpfjXXJyx3czNpffYhCn_7fDId6/s1600/1+Butterfly+Birthday.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYwBW8aGnaWON-He9PsYbMf1ow1kzCBfQlO6ItAim80z_G42v0zxtildwlNBfww4VXH0GPcTHKHN_Y6xScNs14aZOeffl9YXQRDgpox5JIr4YVCBOZmQpfjXXJyx3czNpffYhCn_7fDId6/s1600/1+Butterfly+Birthday.JPG" height="500" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
The background on the one is the Hardwood stamp - same set and framelits...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj67rJ1ezpaBT8fRZVOhOS4e6U_eRQSqfAPz-pdJGJZhOC8q4QbwaqmDQ9zkdjFGI9KaxOza5Ie3VwzLrOXYNH9qYcjHdvbR51e5lwS0FcfiPhDd5Fuev0MkHyhyphenhyphenXglkKtyol7-ZtGdoQyZ/s1600/2+Hardwood+Butterfly.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj67rJ1ezpaBT8fRZVOhOS4e6U_eRQSqfAPz-pdJGJZhOC8q4QbwaqmDQ9zkdjFGI9KaxOza5Ie3VwzLrOXYNH9qYcjHdvbR51e5lwS0FcfiPhDd5Fuev0MkHyhyphenhyphenXglkKtyol7-ZtGdoQyZ/s1600/2+Hardwood+Butterfly.JPG" height="640" width="610" /></a></div>
<br />
This one is a beautiful Thank You Card ... for a lovely lady!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfY_70JQqugaHXB-_rGTr1ab-fXwrRcFrKe3t7Bt-ZNX4ncwe6O4OO4D3UxwVhfFsiqXmjBOL_GSpUt0MgIAmJZ9toPpE-A0Ikb28RMdRzbJL7YRQEHhmLp0-iXAGo49iepFwO9gIbgEc4/s1600/3+blossoms+thank+you.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfY_70JQqugaHXB-_rGTr1ab-fXwrRcFrKe3t7Bt-ZNX4ncwe6O4OO4D3UxwVhfFsiqXmjBOL_GSpUt0MgIAmJZ9toPpE-A0Ikb28RMdRzbJL7YRQEHhmLp0-iXAGo49iepFwO9gIbgEc4/s1600/3+blossoms+thank+you.JPG" height="640" width="544" /></a></div>
<br />
I stamped these blossoms on black CS and embossed in white - then used my markers to color them .... such a neat technique.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFT4L26SyN4Ixhq8CC4XLPCj_s-g6s6yrTRKVT5RxMMSuiHd5vsPGUPjjUF1G3I2LPv-D3a0X24T87r8z0hmsp17_dBXN6sF576xFBlegLgb7aGm5FjY2gPpMLiwdSNs_lMRNFO2jfxGTe/s1600/4+closeup+blossoms.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFT4L26SyN4Ixhq8CC4XLPCj_s-g6s6yrTRKVT5RxMMSuiHd5vsPGUPjjUF1G3I2LPv-D3a0X24T87r8z0hmsp17_dBXN6sF576xFBlegLgb7aGm5FjY2gPpMLiwdSNs_lMRNFO2jfxGTe/s1600/4+closeup+blossoms.JPG" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>

<br />
And the WINNER is ..... Sheila Robicheau ... for the package of cards!<br />
<br />
Is it Spring yet?????<br />
In the midst of all this snow and wind I have tried to stay positive and remain hopeful that SPRING is coming! YEA!!!<br />
<br />
To help that along I have made a two Butterfly cards to share with you. SOOOOO easy to achieve this effect. I cute a piece of Whisper White CS a quarter of an inch smaller than the card base - all the way around; chose where I wanted the butterfly to be on the card front and then cute it out with the thinlits . Then I took a piece of DSP and adhered it to the back of the white CS. I used my bone folder to curl the wings a bit and then using glue dots I adhered the butterfly to the opening I had just cut - looks like she is flying off the card! Added some bling and a sentiment and there you have it!<br />
<br />
I used Calypso Coral for this card:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFxWeeoHbyM5mMJ0vIdS7XSPOdD1hvMxunzy7gwRyizMkielQ48izG_cqF8tf3XrWHF4L3m1eti77iYtgWFj4eRPdPFhFKLj1fPdcYqWI_XxIuiCd-RjTLrOjSUOpX00jGYuyMsGGrRjiN/s1600/10+butterfly.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFxWeeoHbyM5mMJ0vIdS7XSPOdD1hvMxunzy7gwRyizMkielQ48izG_cqF8tf3XrWHF4L3m1eti77iYtgWFj4eRPdPFhFKLj1fPdcYqWI_XxIuiCd-RjTLrOjSUOpX00jGYuyMsGGrRjiN/s1600/10+butterfly.JPG" height="640" width="626" /></a></div>
<br />
I used Coastal Cabana for this card...and colored the pearls with Coastal Blendibilities.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUbRIhoo2IPKFLsxVvR7ONXRd5wsBNwsbmNIYz1hv0HV9P-xHGhWmDvbH_hgF3sYx4WedZQ-DJvDe72uhcFdOOlsTCG9N_l66a1UtVIQAYzryjRCYk5a8ps-UMgmqsD85klE_IXGOFszOf/s1600/11+butterfly.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUbRIhoo2IPKFLsxVvR7ONXRd5wsBNwsbmNIYz1hv0HV9P-xHGhWmDvbH_hgF3sYx4WedZQ-DJvDe72uhcFdOOlsTCG9N_l66a1UtVIQAYzryjRCYk5a8ps-UMgmqsD85klE_IXGOFszOf/s1600/11+butterfly.JPG" height="486" width="640" /></a></div>
I must say that these cards are much prettier in real life ... !!!<br />
<br />
I hope you enjoyed your peek here today! Today looks like the calm after the storm! It is nice to see some sunshine!<br />
Blessings and hugs...<br />
RuthieAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13582444262559531088noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4048382712443708197.post-12602204872648736622015-02-11T17:30:00.001-04:002015-02-11T17:30:31.097-04:00Springy CardsHi all .. just a quick post - I have supper on the stove and am getting ready to go out to our Small Group meeting - we have missed the past two weeks b/c of the stormy weather. Today has been a beautiful day - with lots of sunshine! :)<br />
<br />
The first one is mad using the buttery dies from Butterfly basics .... they are gorgeous! I double mounted this one and the background is DSP.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZmaMIKlP9hP7G5jZew-iaCmplbYzq2SI1ScVfi8VssyEZeGhhC7IVkZqixwm4ifbmbcc-V2Xw2KvFNMjp_AKCY94FaG3mBJwpEAp8Y-z5OU43d6qciES_Pvghb04m24PncV9vigdficM7/s1600/9.+Butterfly.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZmaMIKlP9hP7G5jZew-iaCmplbYzq2SI1ScVfi8VssyEZeGhhC7IVkZqixwm4ifbmbcc-V2Xw2KvFNMjp_AKCY94FaG3mBJwpEAp8Y-z5OU43d6qciES_Pvghb04m24PncV9vigdficM7/s1600/9.+Butterfly.JPG" height="640" width="560" /></a></div>
<br />
and here is another card using the Irresistibly Yours DSP ... in "orange tones"<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3ivGtN2ZV5bdP9-dfNSWLEfg2Qe-9ssB8GbnQjSCWeesVT6Bx1DW5ZC6P7V9J8Y6H_5OowOwx-im6nkUaLOFUXP86COc9DwOlv3WvYoXrOq1D7jjRADGc9XXzu7UZT5_13kjP-0LNnE1S/s1600/8.+Oranges+Hello.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3ivGtN2ZV5bdP9-dfNSWLEfg2Qe-9ssB8GbnQjSCWeesVT6Bx1DW5ZC6P7V9J8Y6H_5OowOwx-im6nkUaLOFUXP86COc9DwOlv3WvYoXrOq1D7jjRADGc9XXzu7UZT5_13kjP-0LNnE1S/s1600/8.+Oranges+Hello.JPG" height="638" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />

It's still snowing!!!!!<br />
<br />
What do you think of this title? Does it spark some curiosity? I hope so! This what I have been doing - as well as getting ready for a Workshop for Monday night..... ummmm - wonder if the weather will make it possible for that to happen?<br />
<br />
Here are two cards I made with the Irresistibly Yours DSP from SAB - it is so fun to color and adapt to whatever I want. The first card has been done in shades of purples.... Wisteria Wonder, Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant ... The "thank" die actually says "thanks" but I cut off the 's' so I could pair it with "you" for "thank you"! [much prettier IRL - in real life]<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtFuhpB4JPlL2SEH1f7GH2cibIK6Kn4zxVvefRTj6I5Vnh-xg7RMpx8f2ct5zsDmFbipRCA_puOUHMK2jOFq7TsftrM4xuaosK3coVtjKt6JH7pKF53eWwgLRY1hTdOUI0CUR4S6J8mlsG/s1600/5.+purple+shades+of+thanks.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtFuhpB4JPlL2SEH1f7GH2cibIK6Kn4zxVvefRTj6I5Vnh-xg7RMpx8f2ct5zsDmFbipRCA_puOUHMK2jOFq7TsftrM4xuaosK3coVtjKt6JH7pKF53eWwgLRY1hTdOUI0CUR4S6J8mlsG/s1600/5.+purple+shades+of+thanks.JPG" height="632" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
This next one is in shades of blue ... Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Soft Sky and the butterfly is inked in Island Indigo.<br />

Wouldn't Yellows or Pinks be pretty? Even Greens? Maybe I will have to make someone a gift set.<br />
Better yet - How about a GIVEAWAY! YES!<br />
Leave me a comment and I will put your names in a hat and will do a draw for a set of 4 cards - on Friday the 13th of February! :0<br />
<br />
One last card to show you ... this one is a secret until the 14th ... hubby never looks at my blog - he doesn't need to cuz I pretty much show him all the cards I make. This one is for him - using the "From the Herd" stamp set..... totally cased from Pinterest with my own spin on it! Don't you love Pinterest?<br />
<br />

Are you tired of this snow we have accumulated over the past few days! I know I am! I am thankful for our home and the heat ... for hubby who keeps the home fires burning and for power!!!<br />
<br />
Today I have 2 more cards using A Happy Thing stamp set... gotta love this little bird!<br />
Both cards were made with stuff that was sitting on my work space - one way to clean up is to use it! :)<br />
<br />
I colored this one with Night of Navy and Skin Tone Blendies ... the lace washi tape is long retired and I have been hesitating to use it - it is so pretty. The hello was cut with some new dies and just sitting there waiting for me to apply it somewhere!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzOi-2nslyfD5AP3xYOhkF18m527ZQgiuXHkmQ5glRwwwryHGYjb0fahI78ODkfmRZkBZIleyUWffW-ODHNquRHSvF8oq99O3q_4CmVCS0Kck3qe2SNar8AMWoOb6LAJr30dq5qiL3MnqN/s1600/1.Night+of+Navy+Bird.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzOi-2nslyfD5AP3xYOhkF18m527ZQgiuXHkmQ5glRwwwryHGYjb0fahI78ODkfmRZkBZIleyUWffW-ODHNquRHSvF8oq99O3q_4CmVCS0Kck3qe2SNar8AMWoOb6LAJr30dq5qiL3MnqN/s1600/1.Night+of+Navy+Bird.JPG" height="640" width="594" /></a></div>

<br />
I colored the second one with Wild Wasabi and Calypso Coral blendies - also colored the pearls. And used the new bow builder punch for the cute little bow!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
The sentiment inside comes from a sale-a-bration set...<br />
As 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says ...<br />
"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." One of my fave verses!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I have discovered he is an Australian Bee Catcher Bird and he comes in the most beautiful colors.... many different combos! For this card I have chosen just one combo but will do some of the others over the next few days.<br />
<br />
I "goggled" this little fellow .... found some incredible pics - here are 2 .... I based my card on the first pic.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcT6kQ6psW_W1OsL--LcFJ2gSHqUfU2j2VP1CjiSfz50qWsL8xBA" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="250" src="https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcT6kQ6psW_W1OsL--LcFJ2gSHqUfU2j2VP1CjiSfz50qWsL8xBA" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<span id="goog_1094881960"></span>

Here is one with a bee -<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Now for my card!<br />
Here he is in Coastal Cabana and Calypso Coral ... two of my fave colors together.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiG260UQFI0PGIyZJIN6jW2rX6Jcq8TIZLblD99QdRU-6mxprZr1O0DdLv8532tztrI09jHuv8voZ959wb2d8WF6AxVZBBOY_pJVXauNQYjpawri5pZMk-DspORMEOfj27MpS6ZElo1AhdD/s1600/H+D+Bee+Bird.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiG260UQFI0PGIyZJIN6jW2rX6Jcq8TIZLblD99QdRU-6mxprZr1O0DdLv8532tztrI09jHuv8voZ959wb2d8WF6AxVZBBOY_pJVXauNQYjpawri5pZMk-DspORMEOfj27MpS6ZElo1AhdD/s1600/H+D+Bee+Bird.JPG" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Inside of the card ............pretty simple with lots of room to write a note -<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsySkREocrUhbLEPzAt4SWzfgKvC_9jZDE7r8oFw8khtUD53pH7ubbVd88LyVtvxoJ2jPJzbCm7S8HXSUDErIzNNFgc43-E03NQlGSqaGM63GCttLqDxx-cTJirCVnZoUa9Ck5L7C6B8dg/s1600/Happy+D+In.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsySkREocrUhbLEPzAt4SWzfgKvC_9jZDE7r8oFw8khtUD53pH7ubbVd88LyVtvxoJ2jPJzbCm7S8HXSUDErIzNNFgc43-E03NQlGSqaGM63GCttLqDxx-cTJirCVnZoUa9Ck5L7C6B8dg/s1600/Happy+D+In.JPG" height="393" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
The card - with sentiment from this set and sequins and pearls and twine. Actually this picture does not do these colors justice!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I made a couple cards in the midst of the cold and snow we've been having. They reminded me that spring and summer will come, I must be patient.<br />
<br />
I took the idea for these cards from one of my fave stampers - LeAnne at weeinklings blog... you can check her out here www.weeinklings.blogspot.ca<br />
<br />
First - I stamped the boat image on white card stock.- cut it out with the circle framelites - colored it with blendabilities.<br />
I cut a piece of the SAB Irresistibly Yours DSP for the inside and used 3 shades of blue to color it ... sort of an ombre effect. I also stamped the boat image and some grunge on the Smokey Slate CS after I had cut and embossed it. Once I finished coloring the image I thought this scene needed some birds in the air so I drew them in. Can you see how the colored image is layered over the SS image? Called Spotlighting technique.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg11x5yY7LYJqUXgpovGyBhPrvIJ6cimk4u9odd6O9_c8VfDTlyvPjgJVpauq4bzkJ9vi3Of8uVpRBF98RTtKF7YAvWqVwe665m1gdEMIjmedvEwir_ZGMvV-d7FBUuZEOAFzBx4hembSYD/s1600/Moon+Lake+A+(4).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg11x5yY7LYJqUXgpovGyBhPrvIJ6cimk4u9odd6O9_c8VfDTlyvPjgJVpauq4bzkJ9vi3Of8uVpRBF98RTtKF7YAvWqVwe665m1gdEMIjmedvEwir_ZGMvV-d7FBUuZEOAFzBx4hembSYD/s1600/Moon+Lake+A+(4).JPG" height="456" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Here is the inside with a big white moon to write the note on! :)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghPxkpDM0K9MycCB0aPMGuUbsTA3UwWYsBMtgPr4oOx0v5dANTPMe6K42HqX3vBuibcYcQvtnPge7bEoiMwxsyK597KIL3xeHmTmnCqIeF1p72u5qUF0S31_NvIfFhLCKlRfpO8XVxi0qh/s1600/Moon+Lake+A+(3).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghPxkpDM0K9MycCB0aPMGuUbsTA3UwWYsBMtgPr4oOx0v5dANTPMe6K42HqX3vBuibcYcQvtnPge7bEoiMwxsyK597KIL3xeHmTmnCqIeF1p72u5qUF0S31_NvIfFhLCKlRfpO8XVxi0qh/s1600/Moon+Lake+A+(3).JPG" height="325" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
I used the same set, image, CS, DSP for this second card but I cut the image smaller, angled the curvature on the front, colored the DSP in greens, and did the boat a different color. Because the colored image is smaller more of the underlying image on the SS is showing<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgv_QuWPOEE5D66I-hEzUqc1WqsuQJSrnb_QLtE7dJKIyXSBpGoOREt9L0kpcQCGZa2v1CnOY6yM-V0UqT14eCkOtCZhgIrZB6t9tLFcfee8eRZ97f1mrpTcenohcGi3vewnRaUPT9HHmQz/s1600/Moon+lake+B.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgv_QuWPOEE5D66I-hEzUqc1WqsuQJSrnb_QLtE7dJKIyXSBpGoOREt9L0kpcQCGZa2v1CnOY6yM-V0UqT14eCkOtCZhgIrZB6t9tLFcfee8eRZ97f1mrpTcenohcGi3vewnRaUPT9HHmQz/s1600/Moon+lake+B.JPG" height="542" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Here is the inside - I didn't want the white piece that I will write on to show when the card is closed so I had to angle it as well.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisu8jKzf8_QrNnwHExAIfZoDFgR5tVxltSztj7MD5Kj-eILwo8A5XIV7hN5uVmYjlSscCzMEKneWV2ZpAh_KHb3GjRLyZSwdxDSbkqjfMb7TzmBqJHiVzKnFHyoTEAJ6zIc9O_6QJE_UlD/s1600/Moon+lake+B+(3).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisu8jKzf8_QrNnwHExAIfZoDFgR5tVxltSztj7MD5Kj-eILwo8A5XIV7hN5uVmYjlSscCzMEKneWV2ZpAh_KHb3GjRLyZSwdxDSbkqjfMb7TzmBqJHiVzKnFHyoTEAJ6zIc9O_6QJE_UlD/s1600/Moon+lake+B+(3).JPG" height="315" width="400" /></a></div>

We held Kreations Klub this past Saturday and I wanted to share the cards we made... such fun. I sometimes wish I had the energy to do this twice a month with 2 groups of ladies ... (and men too if they wanted! - wouldn't that be fun!?) I'll have to think on that for spring ----- ummmmmmm<br />
<br />
Here we go!<br />
This first card is made with a free Sale-A-Bration set called A Happy Thing ... I have discovered that this little bird is a Rainbow Bee Eater .. found in Australia and some other places as well - but not one we would see. He/she comes in different colors - we used blendies to make him blue! I totally copied this card from one I saw online - really like the "window" effect.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwlUCXwA-7cF1vEsNcI3PNxf5cSNE1vAlVWsLvuq6ecwpv69PQFv353ujnw5defyhN-3rjJP73Prnk2kKU8G7_bYUXDhH4qIS8vvlFiZatS2nDBfXPHrPUAINJ9ohYJ62YgIDV99CRVeK5/s1600/Jan+Klub+2+(2).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwlUCXwA-7cF1vEsNcI3PNxf5cSNE1vAlVWsLvuq6ecwpv69PQFv353ujnw5defyhN-3rjJP73Prnk2kKU8G7_bYUXDhH4qIS8vvlFiZatS2nDBfXPHrPUAINJ9ohYJ62YgIDV99CRVeK5/s1600/Jan+Klub+2+(2).JPG" height="545" width="640" /></a></div>
This is a pic of the inside:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCbqkKoDFYjktxkh6SucFAcF_u1lRPVab37rMZiT9Y0vJWwfZwvEVKs05GC1rXAjHyW2j57CfycpXWYaYFFDd2T1pjo9fMy_J3-SEzi1F3_n_ZkW__J6w5TiJf0WA-RFoOh2rs40XQ99LI/s1600/Jan+Klub+2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCbqkKoDFYjktxkh6SucFAcF_u1lRPVab37rMZiT9Y0vJWwfZwvEVKs05GC1rXAjHyW2j57CfycpXWYaYFFDd2T1pjo9fMy_J3-SEzi1F3_n_ZkW__J6w5TiJf0WA-RFoOh2rs40XQ99LI/s1600/Jan+Klub+2.JPG" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Card #2 was made using the emboss resist technique and the stamp set Butterfly Basics - lots of stamping and sponging; the butterfly is popped on the card - but I don't think you see that very well in this pic.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSDAzwhp4fw38_I40u4I29XxpKNyK4F3KpSxx0D0gNQwpj8-eaKDhbIBFB_0Yw6a68kGa7BoDKj3wzyuIKd6gQDwejrgpql-c7B25mV-QXB9ArAjaDDBHnOzIn2dR3-tiKkiC-08iFKl58/s1600/Jan+Klub+3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSDAzwhp4fw38_I40u4I29XxpKNyK4F3KpSxx0D0gNQwpj8-eaKDhbIBFB_0Yw6a68kGa7BoDKj3wzyuIKd6gQDwejrgpql-c7B25mV-QXB9ArAjaDDBHnOzIn2dR3-tiKkiC-08iFKl58/s1600/Jan+Klub+3.JPG" height="640" width="592" /></a></div>
<br />
The 3rd card was made using the stamp set "Kindness is Love" ... and a piece of the Irresistibly Yours DSP from Sale-A-Bration which we colored by sponging with Rose Red ink. This could become a Valentines card or a great thinking of you card.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhscoQtatfsnml-4Jph4IGh020VfZQiVnrjKZ00_XhCYfoCZ_BFDlKPLg0dbA4wChthtFXZL0qJjHBIiHgXBPIylnQg53915Hx61MpM8hbJxUXtMJxayXz1FProbgW8SmlTTZ3Fo_1s97Sn/s1600/Jan+Klub+4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhscoQtatfsnml-4Jph4IGh020VfZQiVnrjKZ00_XhCYfoCZ_BFDlKPLg0dbA4wChthtFXZL0qJjHBIiHgXBPIylnQg53915Hx61MpM8hbJxUXtMJxayXz1FProbgW8SmlTTZ3Fo_1s97Sn/s1600/Jan+Klub+4.JPG" height="640" width="634" /></a></div>
<br />
And finally card #4 - sooo pretty in real life! We used the Something Lacy background stamp and Crumb Cake ink, some lace and sequins, and the HELLO from the Hello You Thinlits die set. On the inside we stamped a sentiment from another set that says ... "looking in on you".<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPQysZ5wACyqbFQ4NBlo8g6M5z9Yxb2XP8oOGJx3lF5r-BuTPz7YxqoKmwMpNcQSoXlCfx4zCHkyG6QQ0_5eCZHVHK7_wKaZ-U7lfV8Q0JJISNDDoxoZcnZs7XdGu3yzjW2xR1UdN3X5BX/s1600/Jan+Klub+1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPQysZ5wACyqbFQ4NBlo8g6M5z9Yxb2XP8oOGJx3lF5r-BuTPz7YxqoKmwMpNcQSoXlCfx4zCHkyG6QQ0_5eCZHVHK7_wKaZ-U7lfV8Q0JJISNDDoxoZcnZs7XdGu3yzjW2xR1UdN3X5BX/s1600/Jan+Klub+1.JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Of course, a good time was had by all, with everyone being totally impressed with the new Occasions catalogue!<br />
<br />
Well ... Like Bugs Bunny used to say -"tha- tha- that's all folks!" I will see you sooner than later the next time! :)<br />
Blessings and HUGS!<br />

This is my first post for the year 2015! It is a Sneak Peek at a set that will be found in the Occasions Catalogue - which goes live tomorrow! I was going to go play in my Kraft Korner ... but I have had a change of plans.<br />
A while ago I purchased the paint for the kitchen and the porch. Well - Christmas and New Years came upon us and there was not time for painting. BUT - today I have some time, so I will begin the "cutting in" in the kitchen. My original plan was to do the porch first but I so want the kitchen done that I have decided to start there. I am not sure how I will make out cuz I have been experiencing fibro pain for days! But you know what? I will do it as I can - and it will be done when it is done! Hallelujah! That is how I live my life now! And I am thankful that I can still do, and that I know when to stop!<br />
<br />
So - Here is the final Sneak Peek --- this is a beautiful set with Easter sentiments. This flower, however, can be used for any type of card! Enjoy!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuBDIY692dBBMckbONVpPMZluR0e-mb8J79bVCoSEHekzEGQWNdOLKGJiDpwrAg1NoaIHir7fIwhsEkLvG2ubYdBtS5Fa8npWaEU-Ls58vPTdB7CpbiuDs5ciQnHc-j6DU64dOUEZ6gIdt/s1600/Indescribable+Gift.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuBDIY692dBBMckbONVpPMZluR0e-mb8J79bVCoSEHekzEGQWNdOLKGJiDpwrAg1NoaIHir7fIwhsEkLvG2ubYdBtS5Fa8npWaEU-Ls58vPTdB7CpbiuDs5ciQnHc-j6DU64dOUEZ6gIdt/s1600/Indescribable+Gift.JPG" height="624" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Such fun to color! This is my take on a card I saw on Sandi MacIver's blog. I followed her lead in stamping the image a second time, coloring and "fussy cutting" a couple of flowers, and popping them outside the frame. I also used a piece of the new SAB designer paper and colored it with Pink Pirouette Blendie.<br />
<br />
Stay tuned the rest of the week as there will be more things to share... maybe even a pic of the kitchen!<br />
<br />
I trust you are staying warm today! The wind is howling around here and it "sounds" cold! Now - think on that one for a bit! Can you relate to the wind "sounding cold"?<br />
<br />
Blessings and Hugs...<br />

Just a quick post on this New Years Eve day! A final post for the year 2014 .... Boy! Did it go by fast!<br />
For this card I used a new background stamp called Something Lacy ... isn't it pretty? And the lace you see on the bottom of the card is new as well.<br />
<br />

<br />
Hasn't this weather been amazing? We traveled to the City for a couple days to visit with family and had amazing travel... sunny days and clear roads! Can't ask for any better than that! We had a wonderful Christmas ... I hope you all did as well.<br />
<br />
I have a sneak peak from the 2015 Occasions Catalogue for you today. This set - Butterfly Basics - has many pieces to it ... today you will just see a few.<br />
<br />
<i>See the 'honeycomb' image? I can see that being used for lots of things. and of course, an image to color! Gotta love that!</i><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgth7DoJqdZGDRfM9CjLnl7tGBOKbciDNwo8ZDc1f8GphlxCgD-SrjpAhNZiXRSuYSosmGdyOifmb_JhvGD_KYQyWeHtF7s7UlTIUU8_1Ry74TclMqWA1UJuWOuYZPsy3p23eJkbdKyK-HG/s1600/Butterfly+Basics+1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgth7DoJqdZGDRfM9CjLnl7tGBOKbciDNwo8ZDc1f8GphlxCgD-SrjpAhNZiXRSuYSosmGdyOifmb_JhvGD_KYQyWeHtF7s7UlTIUU8_1Ry74TclMqWA1UJuWOuYZPsy3p23eJkbdKyK-HG/s1600/Butterfly+Basics+1.JPG" height="640" width="602" /></a></div>

<br />
A second card - very similar to the first - different size and I changed the wording around.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhA2KgtJd2JQ-xbImID5Q2V6EWJUzKyn2qPOWf2VM4yR7IntDyDZJn3n2yAyk4che61xrC_n8wo9-un3Ga3Ndexykcg6bFrCIM4g7pmNSAtxMUIrkTee2pmQcZJBDCRJzDC6Qitdx9rudip/s1600/Butterfly+B+in+Blue.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhA2KgtJd2JQ-xbImID5Q2V6EWJUzKyn2qPOWf2VM4yR7IntDyDZJn3n2yAyk4che61xrC_n8wo9-un3Ga3Ndexykcg6bFrCIM4g7pmNSAtxMUIrkTee2pmQcZJBDCRJzDC6Qitdx9rudip/s1600/Butterfly+B+in+Blue.JPG" height="582" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
The butterfly images on both cards are in this set - I stamped them and then fussy cut them.<br />
<br />
I am really liking this set ... it is one we will be using at Kreations Klub in January, for sure.<br />
Stay tuned - I have another card to show you tomorrow! My Tree is still up - I have been crafting instead! But - Hey - Taking the Tree down tomorrow for sure.<br />
<br />
Take care - Thanks for peeking!<br />

Good Morning Stampers!<br />
The hustle and bustle is over - we have travelled and returned home safely. The Tree will come down today and hopefully the house will return to some semblance of "normal" ... :0<br />
Just before Christmas a friend of ours had a birthday and this is the card I made him. I used a new stamp set "From The Herd". Because I live on a farm this one appealed to me! And, again, it was fun to color!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaCPxObF0AnuoyZWoRP8IYYxLzVv5keJym8J2MNTuCjQsjOijuYS59451QQWjwCt4OUrHWLx2CD7jJkmsBrtLqGhIa9RiLOkpE0xanIwEYT7rLS-C3OK7N0d3k_ElNC8HYTXxDimmvXAan/s1600/From+the+Herd+1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaCPxObF0AnuoyZWoRP8IYYxLzVv5keJym8J2MNTuCjQsjOijuYS59451QQWjwCt4OUrHWLx2CD7jJkmsBrtLqGhIa9RiLOkpE0xanIwEYT7rLS-C3OK7N0d3k_ElNC8HYTXxDimmvXAan/s1600/From+the+Herd+1.JPG" height="640" width="496" /></a></div>
<br />
Aren't they the cutest bunch? I just had to add the googly eyes to them! For the two little ones - the bird and the chicken - I used small pearls with a black dot made with a Sharpie marker - and it worked! Hope you enjoyed this one!<br />
<br />
The stripped paper is from a Sale-A Bration package called Irresistibly Yours. It is white paper with a glossy white pattern (6 different designs). Perfect for coloring. All I did here was sponge the piece with Wild Wasabi ink ... and voila - the stripes appeared. There are many ways to color this paper and I'll be showing you some of them over time!<br />
<br />
If I don't get back before New Years Eve - have a great New Years and I will see you in 2015!<br />
<br />
Blessings and Hugs!<br />

<br />
Hey there! "Kindness is Love" is another new set from the Occasions 2015 catalogue. It is an 'a la carte' set ... meaning just the one stamp. Again this was a fun and simple one to color!<br />
Here is the card I made with it...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaYllNgqsXzSt04ZRxMck1QBsnQ_l5GmzGIm02ogdfzkSuXFjhHLve2lhCxITgK-6fvuB9icNFfrO-EFmN1n-4wgzxqj7PspoxBYB5pevRJ4Owb49sU3AszgQgcb2F2dzbqnrtqk3LVuuY/s1600/Kindness+is+Love.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaYllNgqsXzSt04ZRxMck1QBsnQ_l5GmzGIm02ogdfzkSuXFjhHLve2lhCxITgK-6fvuB9icNFfrO-EFmN1n-4wgzxqj7PspoxBYB5pevRJ4Owb49sU3AszgQgcb2F2dzbqnrtqk3LVuuY/s1600/Kindness+is+Love.JPG" height="640" width="576" /></a></div>
<br />
I love Christmas Eve - we spend family time with hubby's family - reminiscing and eating Rapure Pie or Rappie Pie as it is usually called. "Rapure" means "to grate" ... and when making one the old fashioned way the [potatoes were peeled, grated, and then squeezed to remove the starch from them. I have only done this once a long time ago - I was just the assistant! <br />
After this we go to the Christmas Eve Service at church - which is always a beautiful time!<br />
<br />
Dear Ones, on this Christmas Eve may you Know the One whose birth we celebrate; and may you experience His Blessing in your life!<br />
<br />

<br />
Are you ready for the big day? I am heading to town to do a couple things for hubby that he hasn't had time to do! I'll be glad when that's over.<br />
<br />
On to some Sneak Peeks for you! The set I used here will be available in the Occasions Natalogue that goes live on January 5, 2015. WOW! can you believe it? 2015! It is called Moon Lake and as soon as I saw it I knew it had to be mine. As you know, I love to color and these are such simple images to color. Yesterday I made a set of 3 cards to give to a Hostess friend - we will be having Christmas dinner with a bunch of friends and I wanted something to give to the hostess.<br />
<br />
So without further ado - here they are:<br />
<br />

<br />
Between now and the New Year I will have a few more sneak peeks for you so you will have to just be faithful in checking back here occasionally.<br />
May you all have a wonderful Christmas time; may His Joy and Peace fill your hearts and homes!<br />
<br />
Blessings,<br />

I didn't expect to be back here so soon! :0<br />
Yesterday I had my final pedicure for 2014; I cleaned up the Kraft Korner and put all my Christmas stamps away; organized all the new and old 12 x 12 DSP I have by filing it in the file cabinet and freeing up some space ... and then felt inspired to use this stamp set. This set had not seen ink yet! I have had it for probably a couple months but had not used it b/c I was making Christmas cards!<br />
<br />
Here is a set of blank note cards I made for a friend - and as I'm writing this I am thinking of others I might give such a set to!<br />

As I worked with this set I was so reminded of God's plan for me - for us.... to show love to the world, to be His light, to be thankful and joyful in all things because of His presence! YEA!<br />
<br />
Have a blessed day! I am off to town to finish up odds and ends of stuff! I hope its not too crazy out there - if it is I will return home real quick!<br />

As the title states - here are my final cards for 2014. I didn't get as many made as I have other years, but you know what? That is OK. My life has been filled with family and friends ... and food ... and laughter! We have had a wonderful December thus far - actually, it all started the last week of November and there is no end in sight as of yet. Had family visiting this past weekend - what a blessed time; and more fam this weekend! YEA! Gotta love all that! Christmas next week and then we head for the city for a few days! Keep praying for this awesome weather to hold til January!<br />

Next week I will be working on some other things. Today, as demos, we got a chance to see the new Occasions Catalogue which goes LIVE in January 2015. I think you will like it. So I put in a pre-order - now to wait a couple weeks for it to be here! And YEA! I achieved a free stamp set for November and was able to order from the Occasions catty! Gotta Love That!<br />
<br />
Have a great weekend ... see you back here next week. Maybe things will slow down a little so I can do a challenge or two next week - Oh wait! What was I thinking? That won't happen - James and Carla are coming for 4-5 days! YEA!<br />
<br />
Hugs and Blessings!<br />

Well! Here it is December! Are you ready for the big day! I think this is the first year that my tree HASN'T been decorated by the 25 of November... I do have a few decorations up ... and the tree has been sitting in the living room - I turn the lights on and quite like it like that. Ummmmmm ....<br />
<br />
Been busy in the Kraft Korner - although you wouldn't know it by the blog would you?<br />
<br />
Here are some 'card fronts' I have made for framing ---<br />
Well! Having said that, this may take a while as blogger is very slow in responding if it responds at all!<br />

Klub meets today - here are 3 of the 5 projects we will be doing today! Enjoy...<br />
<br />
This first one is made with the Wondrous Wreath stamp set and framelits... and a little Washi Tape.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
The JOY on this card us also from the Wondrous Wreath framelits.<br />

<br />
I call this one the WaterColor Wisemen! A little messy - but oh so fun to do. Each one turns out different. They are following the STAR!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9WK8ji0xziGrj2Do4WsDVzSndlNk0GHuSSRwxUWCc_zNTjgJ37svS5DTq4umgASRmbX9boOcGq_VyVSK7fY0wPpBxRL55EHwBB77ySYDY4ZBPhEcS_jsfGBgO_s1RMUyF2Rx4ROxAOhEW/s1600/17+WaterColor+wisemen.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9WK8ji0xziGrj2Do4WsDVzSndlNk0GHuSSRwxUWCc_zNTjgJ37svS5DTq4umgASRmbX9boOcGq_VyVSK7fY0wPpBxRL55EHwBB77ySYDY4ZBPhEcS_jsfGBgO_s1RMUyF2Rx4ROxAOhEW/s1600/17+WaterColor+wisemen.JPG" height="640" width="554" /></a></div>
<br />
I have been commissioned by a friend to make 10 "vintagy" card fronts for her to frame as gifts. They will probably all be different as I am not one to sit and make a bunch of cards all the same! I will let you see the end result in a couple weeks.<br />
<br />
Keep following the STAR and have a blessed weekend!<br />

It has been a little over two weeks since I showed you anything here! I don't know where the time has gone - but it has been full, I do know that!<br />
<br />
I have a card for you today that is almost exactly copied from one made by Karen Squires at www.staminbythebay.blogspot.com - I saw this on Pinterest yesterday and just had to make one like it!<br />
The stamp set used is "White Christmas" by Stampin' Up!. It is a photopolymer set and I really like how you can see where your images are being stamped!<br />
<br />
Here is the card closed - as you can see it is a unique fold. This is called a "stand-up-card" if you are interested in searching out the dimensions, etc. When closed it will fit into a regular size envelope.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjm7T3xhM9FGeKP8umS_wHNaqid9cdl24qGVJ5venuY28Nc6Xdb69byudfqcYdz72fMZqsO4rlKlrhWIKqvTt2UTtzBRWy8Fqq2MVr6M00_0O6R8-iZo7Cb4HL8UY0dXlwOnx1K42n4MMPQ/s1600/14+snowy+scene.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjm7T3xhM9FGeKP8umS_wHNaqid9cdl24qGVJ5venuY28Nc6Xdb69byudfqcYdz72fMZqsO4rlKlrhWIKqvTt2UTtzBRWy8Fqq2MVr6M00_0O6R8-iZo7Cb4HL8UY0dXlwOnx1K42n4MMPQ/s1600/14+snowy+scene.JPG" height="640" width="532" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is the card open - I have not put a sentiment on it yet as I'm not sure if I'll use it as a winter card or a Christmas card!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgk_dCEW3yK3BWfvwGteuAZ5OpUq8oJjg5EnGqoaNv_cvgHwVmife3g3R7I3Cqri_aFuKrDtrSunqcaWmyjGebktbK8SG74g9iWbK84X1u5nvRqbNmLwPmlh0mOaVbZHq9yn-EM5MNh7TSu/s1600/14a+snowy+scene.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgk_dCEW3yK3BWfvwGteuAZ5OpUq8oJjg5EnGqoaNv_cvgHwVmife3g3R7I3Cqri_aFuKrDtrSunqcaWmyjGebktbK8SG74g9iWbK84X1u5nvRqbNmLwPmlh0mOaVbZHq9yn-EM5MNh7TSu/s1600/14a+snowy+scene.JPG" height="478" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I stamped with Early Espresso; used White Kraft ink to sponge the snow on the ground; used my chalk marker for the flakes and bear and snowman.<br />
<br />
I hope you enjoyed your peek here today! As I made this card I was contemplating the serenity and peace found in a winter snowy scene. I cannot imagine having the amount of snow that New York has received in the last couple days! That would freak me out for sure!<br />
<br />
Have a great weekend...<br />
Kreations Klub meets tomorrow afternoon - I will post the pics of our projects in the morning for you all to see!<br />
'Til then - Blessings on yah!<br />
RuthieAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13582444262559531088noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4048382712443708197.post-92094150713331469312014-11-05T10:01:00.001-04:002014-11-05T10:01:58.422-04:00Let It Snow - NOT!Hi Stampers!<br />
<br />
I love the sight of new fallen snow! It is so fresh and clean and white! I especially like to see it untouched by footprints. However, I don't like the cold; I don't like driving in the stuff; I don't like sliding around in it! I could easily join the bears and hibernate for the winter! :0 <br />
But then I would miss Christmas - one of my favorite times of year!<br />
<br />
I made a couple cards with some house die cuts (non Stampin' Up!) ... these are WINTER cards. I did not put any sentiment on either one because I may use them as birthday or thank you or just a January thinking of you!<br />
<br />
I don't think the photos do them justice. They were a little tiddly for me but I had fun and had glitter everywhere by the time I was done.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I colored in the trees and the roof lines to coordinate with the DSP used. Then added glitter everywhere!<br />
I hope you enjoyed your peek here today!<br />
<br />
Hugs...<br />

I have been making Christmas cards.... remember the other day I told you I had some packets left over from a Workshop? Well, I have finished them up and have some cards to show you. I hope you are ready for all of this! :)<br />
[I tried to lighten up the photos without much success... sorry]<br />
<br />
We made this monochromatic card (with white as the neutral) at Kreations Klub a couple weeks ago ... color is Lost Lagoon. Don't you love the little snowflake charm? They would make great earrings!!!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHWf8vtWgXZ7SyHwr6E11YTBFKOutRfz1K8z9OzPiNqh8Y1GuhmeaSusCUbnf8Xj35cQi1tn4WJZyFFRLSqGt-fTIzdOOGaHDM4vEE7NWsDP30ZT1rv5eOTca3nJw2LE4-QzPC0DrSFenq/s1600/6+Klub+Merry.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHWf8vtWgXZ7SyHwr6E11YTBFKOutRfz1K8z9OzPiNqh8Y1GuhmeaSusCUbnf8Xj35cQi1tn4WJZyFFRLSqGt-fTIzdOOGaHDM4vEE7NWsDP30ZT1rv5eOTca3nJw2LE4-QzPC0DrSFenq/s1600/6+Klub+Merry.JPG" height="619" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
This is was the second Make and Take at the Workshop last week - using the Seasonally Scattered stamp set. The technique here is called Reverse Embossing... We heat embossed the stamp in VersaMark and Clear powder ... then sponged with Pear Pizzazz ink (it is much prettier in reality).<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2gwAVEMiNAJQNRjqImxtxosCzkIeP64Y-iEWv0n1xxzKwjJsA3TO6-ckO-SGedtsAZK3J16-hQp7NU2kkJlB4CLAiw1ZsS7V3fF5OuemAU8WvNOp9qPqfRmSgFtcjKOtn0bIbQ7ocKCfW/s1600/7+WS+Merry.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2gwAVEMiNAJQNRjqImxtxosCzkIeP64Y-iEWv0n1xxzKwjJsA3TO6-ckO-SGedtsAZK3J16-hQp7NU2kkJlB4CLAiw1ZsS7V3fF5OuemAU8WvNOp9qPqfRmSgFtcjKOtn0bIbQ7ocKCfW/s1600/7+WS+Merry.JPG" height="624" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Now for the rest of the cards I made - mostly with the same supplies as the workshop card.<br />
A friend visited a stamping outlet and brought me some ink pens that have glitter in the ink - I used the silver one here. Can you see the glitter?<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4_qmhCvD_QXyn3yR-_LUfY9YQP2yHz5mYZ9zRt5rbt0fH5Io627MWZdy7-9EWC9F8Vy24hITl2HCSk1MssFuoDhyIWfQWsnQHcawUwkYoYbOS6MCURv2MZjS_hICxX-qQ77i79yauGIbX/s1600/8+Glitter+Ink+Merry.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4_qmhCvD_QXyn3yR-_LUfY9YQP2yHz5mYZ9zRt5rbt0fH5Io627MWZdy7-9EWC9F8Vy24hITl2HCSk1MssFuoDhyIWfQWsnQHcawUwkYoYbOS6MCURv2MZjS_hICxX-qQ77i79yauGIbX/s1600/8+Glitter+Ink+Merry.JPG" height="640" width="554" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTbWn2s823XkQhjAINuqsZKpDlIRu9kTf_dzf2TOwURtvKi7Q-fzf9XWlac64tG26eUFNR5icNgvo9EGX_KLbh8mTzgQR4y4E0EDrteoDVb9jD5XNQOmv0VEBQUp_hFm_C4cX5HJmfW3iB/s1600/8a+Glitter+ink.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTbWn2s823XkQhjAINuqsZKpDlIRu9kTf_dzf2TOwURtvKi7Q-fzf9XWlac64tG26eUFNR5icNgvo9EGX_KLbh8mTzgQR4y4E0EDrteoDVb9jD5XNQOmv0VEBQUp_hFm_C4cX5HJmfW3iB/s1600/8a+Glitter+ink.JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
This card is pretty basic - added some Lost Lagoon ribbon and pearls - and sponged in the 'Merry'<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAcQreO0q6HFOo6FIyw5gcPvy7oouEg9v98e33SN3znOklcv-lx6_FVrpjJ_yz1e933dHYOkc8rt_gwNNYViMGZcyccZynyLTvZAVaRchCRqjoJiPMrtpbZDcwV01PQZdPnj2U2usOdCEn/s1600/9+Sponged+Merry.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAcQreO0q6HFOo6FIyw5gcPvy7oouEg9v98e33SN3znOklcv-lx6_FVrpjJ_yz1e933dHYOkc8rt_gwNNYViMGZcyccZynyLTvZAVaRchCRqjoJiPMrtpbZDcwV01PQZdPnj2U2usOdCEn/s1600/9+Sponged+Merry.JPG" height="640" width="626" /></a></div>
<br />
I turned the last 2 cards into the "landscape" format ... and used Crystal Effects on this one!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4aNbjLQiGCaNcAGXn6UpK13OMMebfRkxuKeIY4ylOkAgtVmPjUrPvqVuWfHR0z5yksNUBR48kmrDhgc8q3nybtveWeBBxu4kfIcuggrBkLb6gD9GJ1p3L7DqCcEdCKu-JvAsuKFPqP4YB/s1600/10+Crystal+Ef+merry.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4aNbjLQiGCaNcAGXn6UpK13OMMebfRkxuKeIY4ylOkAgtVmPjUrPvqVuWfHR0z5yksNUBR48kmrDhgc8q3nybtveWeBBxu4kfIcuggrBkLb6gD9GJ1p3L7DqCcEdCKu-JvAsuKFPqP4YB/s1600/10+Crystal+Ef+merry.JPG" height="510" width="640" /></a></div>
